Various hiking options allow you to immerse yourself in the original and nature-loving way of life of the Lepcha people. Visit remote hamlets, untouched forests and hike past waterfalls and to a thermal spring. Be aware that the hotels do not have central heating and you will need to dress warmly indoors during the winter months.<\/p>\n<p>Summer: During monsoon season (July and August) Northern Sikkim experiences less rainfall than the rest of the country.
